We will try to ensure that your order is delivered to the recipient on the date and location requested when placing the order. However, there are times when this is not possible due to problems with the address information provided or due to problems our drivers encounter when attempting to deliver the order.
We would request our customers to help us provide the following accurtae information so that the order is successfully delivered.
-Recepient and Customer correct Telephone number
-Recepient complete billing address.(Please note that no deliveries can be taken for PO BOX address given.
-Customer's correct email address.
NON DELIVERY OF ORDER
In the event that we are not able to deliver your order due to…
(1) Incorrect address-
At the time of placing the order, please ensure that the delivery details given are correct.For incomplete or missing address, incase we find out before the delivery we will try to contact you first via email or phone.If we manage to get the correct details we will proceed with the delivery. If we are unable to contact you at the time of attempted delivery, we will return the order and await contact from you.
Please note that we will only attempt one subsequent delivery and that this may not be possible on the date of the original delivery. Re-delivery dates and options are subject to our standard cut-off policies. There will be a redelivery charge for the order to be delivered again.
(2)Recepient not being there or refusing to accept the order.
-It is best to mention in special instructions an alternate arrangement incase you know there is a possiblity of recepient not being there.An attempt to leave the order securely on the premises (unless you request that we don’t do this) - our driver will leave a card with details of the location of the order. The card will be our proof of delivery. Please note that we are not liable for any theft of goods left securely on the property.
-Attempt to leave the order with a neighbour (unless you request that we do not do this) - our driver will try to leave the order with a neighbour if possible and leave a card at the recipient's address. The card will be our proof of delivery. Please note that it is the recipient's responsibility to collect the order from the neighbour.
-Incase the recepient refuses to accept the order, please note that we cannot refund the order as the flowers or the gift items would have already been prepared and we cannot reuse it.
(3) Difficult to find a particular location
There are times that the delivery location is very tricky and the driver cannot find the correct way.In case we are unable to contact the recepient we will contact you to obtain the land mark if possible.Please note that there might be a delay due because of not being able to locate the address, in that case we might need to postpone it by a day or so.We will expect our customers to understand us for the same.Please note that this rarely happens
(4) Natural Calamities
Please note that orders might not get delivered due to natural calamities.We might not be able to deliver incase of earthquakes, floods, drought etc.
(5) Delivering to businesses, hospitals, hotels universities…
In some circumstances, for example, when delivering to some business addresses, hospitals, hotels or universities, we may not be able to deliver the flowers directly to the intended recipient. Please note that these circumstances are outside our control. In this case, we will deliver to the reception area or post room and (where possible) obtain a signature from the receptionist (or equivalent). This signature will be our record of delivery.
-National and Public Holidays:Please note that no deliveries will take place on National Holidays and public holidays.However their are ceratin countries in which we can deliver on special request.Please contact our customer representatives for the same.
-Deliveries to HOTELS, please note that a the correct Room no along with the contact number has to be given.A lot of times incase the delivery is for a wedding, we might not be able to contact the bride and groom and delivery will be given to the subsequent person.How ever a proof of delivery will be given for the same.
-Business Address:In the event our standard delivery option is chosen for a business address and a delivery between 8am and 6:30pm fails due to the recipient not being available, or the business being closed, we will not accept any liability for the non-delivery and reserve the right to charge an additional production and delivery charge for any subsequent re-delivery. If you decide to cancel the order instead of arranging a re-delivery, we reserve the right to charge deduct a cancellation fee from the refund value.
